火药

人类最早使用的火药是黑火药，它是中国劳动人民在一千多年前发明的。火药是中国古代炼丹家在炼丹过程中发明的。火药的最重要的成分是作为氧化的硝石。秦汉之际也是炼丹术开始盛行之时，方士们为了炼制仙丹妙药，把各类药物彼此配合烧炼。五金、八石（各种矿物药）、三黄（硫磺、雄黄、雌黄）、汞和硝石都是炼丹的常用药物。其中汞与三黄合炼而得丹砂是炼丹家们的得意之作。但若用硝石与三黄共炼必将燃烧爆炸，因此导致火药的发明。

就在火药发明之后，也曾被引入药类，《本草纲目》中，说火药能治疮癣、杀虫、辟湿气、瘟疫。更重要的原因是火药的发明来自制丹配药的实践中。

火药对中国的重要

火药是从中国发明的，是中国四大发明之一。火药也可以被称为黑火药，因为中国发明的火药是黑色的。中国发明了火药已经是一千年了，
